Grow a cliffside pirate paradise – free demo out now!
Hooded Horse and Limbic Entertainment are pleased to announce that their pirate city builder, Corsair Cove, now has a release date! With current wishlists in excess of 180,000, we’re battening down the hatches for a summer launch. Corsair Cove will release on PC via Steam, Epic Game Store, and the Microsoft Store on July 31, 2026. The game will also be playable via PC Game Pass from day one.
Until then, players can dive into the demo – available now – for some totally pigtastic pirate shanty management. Revel in the opening acts of the four major story questlines, whet the appetite for adventure, and dabble in designing a pirate utopia to rival the Crown. Uncover extraordinary tales and design complex production chains, building vertically across a jumble of hilltops and sea cliffs to confront the challenges of limited island space.
The full game comes with two game modes, and three unique tropical islands on which to build and govern a powerful pirate settlement.
The demo will also feature in next month’s Steam Next Fest, starting June 15.
Corsair Cove will be localized from English into German, French, Spanish, Italian, Polish, Russian, Brazilian Portuguese, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Korean, and Japanese. The demo is not currently localized into Brazilian Portuguese.
