Following the launch of its closed and open playtests, Renegade Games has deployed a major update to the ongoing Open Playtest for Castle Away, a roguelite autobattler castle builder. This playtest will begin testing our Mac, Linux and Controller implementations for Castle Away, opening up the game to new audiences.

In Castle Away, players scavenge for goods, slay monsters, and survive demons by crafting synergistic builds on a compact castle grid. To allow more players to experience the game before launch, the Open Playtest has been extended until May 11th, 10AM PDT / 7PM CEST.
The Playtest can be found here: Castle Away Playtest on Steam
