Jump Into the Launch Season Now
Wargaming is proud to announce the release of its new standalone free-to-play tactical vehicle shooter, World of Tanks: HEAT. Built from the ground up on a proprietary engine, the game delivers fast-paced armored combat with a diverse roster of unique Agents and a wide selection of experimental vehicles.
World of Tanks: HEAT is available across PC (Wargaming Game Center and Steam), PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and NVIDIA GeForce NOW, supporting full cross-platform play and progression.
“Launching HEAT is a huge milestone for us, but in many ways, this is only the beginning,” said Artyom Yantsevich, Product Director. “I want to thank our team, as well as our players for helping bring HEAT to life. We’re excited for what’s ahead and can’t wait to grow HEAT together.”

The action kicks off with the Launch Season, featuring five free weekly Battle Passes, five tanks, and plenty of rewards. Players begin their journey with three Agents – Chopper (Defender, M1E1), Kent (Assault, XM1 90), and Hound (Marksman, Leo 1A6A1). The remaining five Agents, along with their tanks, can be unlocked progressively through Season’s free weekly Battle Passes.
At launch, players can expect:
- Eight Agents: Three battlefield roles – Defender, Assault, and Marksman. Each Agent commands a lethal two-vehicle roster, with each vehicle tailored to its role in combat.
- Fifteen vehicles: Every vehicle supports a different playstyle and can be fully customized through modules and equipment. Whether holding the frontline or striking from a distance, there’s a tank that is ready for the job.
- Eight maps: The battlefields span a wide range of biomes, settings, and visual styles, each designed to support multiple playstyles across game modes.
- Four PvP modes: Hardpoint, Control, Kill Confirmed, and Conquest are available.
