Heroes of Might and Magic: Olden Era Enjoys Mighty Opening Weekend

Hooded Horse, Unfrozen Studio, and Ubisoft are proud to share that their highly anticipated turn-based strategy game, Heroes of Might and Magic: Olden Era, has enjoyed a wildly successful opening weekend after releasing into early access last week.

After smashing past 250,000 sales in less than 24 hours, it breezed past 500,000 sales over the weekend and currently sits at over 650,000 copies sold. Other causes for celebration include a peak CCU of over 60,000 across the opening weekend, as well as a “Very Positive” rating on Steam with over 7,000 reviews.

The developers are hard at work collecting and addressing player feedback, with three patches out so far and more to come. A full development roadmap for early access will be released at a later date.

“Heroes of Might and Magic has an incredible history,” says Hooded Horse CEO Tim Bender. “It is an absolute thrill to see Olden Era get such a positive reception from players, and take its position as the newest entry in this classic series.”

Heroes of Might and Magic: Olden Era is available in early access for PC via Steam and the Microsoft Store (via Game Preview) for $39.99 / £34.99 / €39.99 / ¥3,980. A 25% launch discount is running until May 13, 2026.

The game is also available via PC Game Pass.
