A disturbing psychological horror game revealed today
FEED IT is the debut game from Italian indie studio Games On A Chair, published by Pretty Soon (Backpack Hero, Small Spaces, Havendock). Revealed today alongside its first trailer, the game presents an unsettling premise: living under the same roof as a creature that has to be fed.
The reveal trailer offers a first glimpse into the protagonist’s deteriorating situation – a shifting house, a hungry monster that spirals into rage, and an uncomfortable choice at the center of it all.
In FEED IT, the player doesn’t fight the monster. They are forced to take care of it. The choice is simple: either you give the food to the creature and starve, or you eat the food yourself and risk the monster’s fury.

The game is designed as a short-form, replayable horror experience with multiple paths and various endings. FEED IT draws inspiration from games like classic Silent Hill or Mouthwashing and other psychological horror titles, that are more focused on discomfort, and emotional pressure rather than typical jump scares.

Instead of fully explaining its world outright, FEED IT leaves players to make sense of the situation as they move through it. The game is built around minimal interactions and a restrained structure. It is less about uncovering a complex plot and more about living through a concentrated horror experience.
A playable demo for FEED IT will be available in June as part of the Steam Next Fest, with the full release planned for this summer. The game can already be wishlisted on Steam.
