The cozy time management sim game releases on May 11th

Indie developer Studio Primitive has announced the release date for their time management, cozy building sim Boardwalk Builders. After months of development and playtesting, the game will launch on May 11th, 2026 on Steam!

“Boardwalk Builders is a coming together of so many chill vibes. I really tried to emphasize what it would feel like to be at a beach, from the color palette to the music and sounds to the shops selected for the game. Everything has a beach vibe,” says Joel of Studio Primitive. “As I developed the game, it just naturally came out that way and evolved into a relaxing game where you can turn off your mind after work, spend a few minutes growing your boardwalk, then come back the next day and do it again. No stress, just good times. I really hope people feel that and have a chance to build something fun and interesting while at the same time taking a break from the hectic world we live in.”
