The Fertile Crescent 2: Collapse of the Bronze Age Demo Now Available

MicroProse is pleased to announce that a playable demo for The Fertile Crescent 2: Collapse of the Bronze Age is now available to play.

The official sequel to The Fertile CrescentThe Fertile Crescent 2: Collapse of the Bronze Age is a story-driven real-time strategy game set during the Late Bronze Age Collapse. Players lead a small group of survivors through a world shaped by war, famine, political instability, and the fall of ancient kingdoms. Combining classic RTS gameplay with narrative-driven progression, the game challenges players to gather resources, build their village, protect their people, and endure a collapsing world where survival matters more than conquest.

The demo offers players an early look at the experience through the first three missions of the campaign, delivering approximately 45 minutes of gameplay and introducing the game’s story, core mechanics, and survival-focused RTS systems.

Set during the Late Bronze Age Collapse, The Fertile Crescent 2: Collapse of the Bronze Age places players in the midst of a crumbling world. Cities burn, trade routes fail, and once-powerful kingdoms struggle to maintain control. In this unstable environment, players lead a small group of survivors, not to build a vast empire, but to hold their people together as everything around them begins to fall apart.

The game blends classic real-time strategy foundations – resource gathering, village building, and tactical combat-with a survival-focused approach where instability and pressure shape every decision. Players must build and sustain their settlement while adapting to a world where growth carries risk and stability is never guaranteed.

Food sits at the center of the experience, sustaining population, supporting armies, and driving progression. Managing it effectively is essential to survival, as missteps can quickly lead to collapse.

At the heart of the game is a narrative campaign following a cast of characters as they endure the unfolding collapse. Their journey spans a series of handcrafted missions, where story and gameplay are closely intertwined, and where survival is defined by persistence rather than conquest.

Players will face the consequences of a failing world: drought and famine, disrupted trade routes, rising unrest, and increasing pressure from rival powers. The arrival of the mysterious Sea Peoples brings further chaos, while weakening empires struggle to maintain order and protect their borders.

In addition to the campaign, the game includes skirmish modes, multiplayer on dedicated servers, and tools for creating and sharing custom scenarios.
