Nocturne, the story-driven RPG with rhythm combat and decade-long passion project from Pracy Studios, set in a world where humanity lives in a faltering digital afterlife, uploads a brand new demo for June Steam Next Fest today.
Save humanity’s consciousness when Nocturne arrives on PC via Steam on Thursday, Sept. 24, 2026.
Dive into a completely overhauled demo with brand new content. Previously only playable as a short 15-minute preview, the June SNF demo now includes:
- Nocturne’s whole first chapter (90+ minutes!)
- A never-before-seen portion of the second chapter.
- Two boss fights.
- New combat mechanics, revamped equipment, upgrades, and consumables.

Reach new levels of mastery with the newly-unlocked Arcade Mode, and earn achievements with high scores to conquer the top of the leaderboard. Nocturne’s full release will feature 101 playable tracks, dwarfing most rhythm games at launch!
Upon awakening in the digital afterlife, Karma anticipated meeting their brother. Yet when they open their eyes, they instead discover a millennium has passed, the afterlife is dying, and no one knows where their brother has gone.
Explore a decaying pixel-art world in search of Karma’s brother, alongside a mischievous boy and a giant orange fish. Track down the source of this crumbling world’s corruption before it’s deleted forever.
Engage in full RPG mechanics with rhythmic combat in a masterful blend of genres. Nocturne is both an entire story RPG and a full rhythm game.

Encounter and battle hostile robotic creatures to the backdrop of an original symphonic rock soundtrack. All boss fight tracks were recorded live by the Slovak National Symphony Orchestra.
Advance the story at any skill level via six difficulty options, including the new per-column Autoplay mode, allowing those with mobility challenges to play with one hand.
