Bellring Games and Skystone Games announce open beta date for dark fantasy extraction ARPG across PC, PlayStation, and Xbox
Bellring Games and Skystone Games today announce that Mistfall Hunter, the studio’s debut dark fantasy extraction ARPG, will launch its open beta on June 14 across Steam, PlayStation, and Xbox.
In the wake of an epic war between gods and outer gods, all deities have fallen. Their blood – the Gyldenmist – has become a corrosive force sweeping across the land, Weavereach warping the souls of the living and driving them to madness and monstrous mutation. Civilization clings to the edges of ruin. But from the shadows emerges hope: a mysterious figure named Dew, who possesses the power to resurrect fallen heroes and grant them immortal bodies. These reborn champions, called Gyldhunters, are tasked with a dangerous mission: venture into the heart of corruption, battle the twisted creatures spawned by the Gyldenmist, and harvest Gyldenblod to heal the world’s broken Web of Fate.
Mistfall Hunter blends the nail-biting tension of extraction gameplay with fluid, precision-based action combat. Players select from five distinct classes: Mercenary, Sorcerer, Blackarrow, Shadowstrix, and Seer. Each has unique weapons, skills, and playstyles. Whether hunting solo or coordinating with up to two companions, every raid is a high-stakes gamble. Enemies emerge from both the corrupted wilderness and rival Gyldhunters seeking the same spoils. Defeat means losing everything you’ve gathered. To secure a safe return to the Windrest camp, Gyldhunters must track down extraction opportunities hidden within the realm and ring the bell known as Soul of Return to escape. However, the Gyldenmist may conceal more than one way out.
To unleash your full combat potential and gain the upper hand in every fight, target enemy weak points with pinpoint accuracy. Chain devastating combos, customize your build with over 10 skills and talent options, and collect high-level gear to unlock powerful passives. Every match is a test of mechanical skill, adaptability, and nerve. Will you be the hunter, or the hunted?
The open beta on June 14 gives players a chance to experience the extraction loop, test their class builds, and help shape the game before its official release. Bellring Games has spent months refining core mechanics and listening to community feedback from previous beta phases, and the open beta represents a polished, feature-complete experience.
