Topdeck Automat, the Printer Vs. Aliens Auto-Battler, Playtest is Live

The upcoming roguelike auto-battler Topdeck Automat started its first public playtest! Players can get immediate access to the playtest version via the game’s Steam page. While this alpha version lacks final assets and polish in some places and only contains a fraction of the planned full version content, the core gameplay loop is ready for player feedback via the developer’s Discord or the Steam forums.

Topdeck Automat is the roguelike auto-battler where your deck prints itself! Supply a brave worker droid with synergistic blueprints to defend the planet against hordes of alien invaders. Combine hundreds of cards with custom upgrades and infinitely stackable modules to discover broken builds.

In a dark future, alien forces invaded Earth, seized control and destroyed all of humanity’s means of resistance. However, the seemingly harmless worker droids were spared: office assistants, flyer printers, vending machines and the like. Hacked and reprogrammed for combat, they now march to take back the planet. You are one of them!

The game is created by the team behind the beloved billiards roguelike Rack and Slay with Fabian Fischer aka Ludokultur responsible for design and programming, while Victor Negreiro aka Estivador is creating all the art and animations!
