Gunsmith Simulator: Heavy Metal DLC Available Now

Heavy Metal DLC for Gunsmith Simulator is now available on Steam together with the free Update 1.6, expanding the base game with new mechanics, gameplay systems, and shooting-related features.

Gunsmith Simulator is a realistic gunsmithing simulator where players repair, restore, test, and modify a wide range of firearms. Since launch, the game has been continuously expanded through free updates and paid DLCs introducing new weapons, mechanics, and gameplay systems.

So far, Gunsmith Simulator has received two major DLC expansions. The first one, Flint & Powder DLC, focused on historical black powder firearms and classic weapon designs from past eras. Later, the developers released Fabryka Broni DLC, created in cooperation with Fabryka Broni “Łucznik” Radom, introducing modern Polish firearms including the GROT rifle family and the legendary VIS wz.35 pistol.

This time, the developers present the third major expansion for the game – Heavy Metal DLC, focused on machine guns, sustained fire gameplay, and brand-new mechanics related to operating heavier weaponry.
Heavy Metal DLC introduces four iconic machine guns:

• MG3 – the German legend of extreme firepower and one of the most recognizable machine guns in history,
• M249 – a NATO light machine gun designed for mobile suppressive fire,
• M60 – the classic American heavy machine gun known from numerous 20th century conflicts,
• PKP Pecheneg – a modern Russian machine gun engineered for prolonged continuous fire.
The DLC also introduces several new gameplay features:
• barrel overheating mechanics during sustained fire,
• barrel swapping at the shooting range,
• new machine gun operation and testing animations,
• a brand-new metal radio station available in the workshop.

Alongside the DLC launch, the developers also released the free Update 1.6 for all Gunsmith Simulator players.

Update 1.6 adds:
• a new prone shooting position,
• a dedicated shooting range setup designed for machine guns,
• new metal targets and long-range shooting targets,
• shooting distances of up to 300 meters,
• brand-new shooting range mini-games,
• bipods for improved weapon stability,
• new Steam achievements.

Heavy Metal DLC is now available on Steam. To celebrate the launch, the DLC is available with a -10% discount.
