RetroStyle Games invites players to try its chaotic co-op pirate horror game, featuring elastic arms, butt-based revival, cursed islands, monsters, and unreliable teamwork
RetroStyle Games has announced that the demo for Last Pirates: Die Together will launch on Steam on May 28.
The upcoming demo will give players a chance to experience the game’s co-op pirate horror gameplay ahead of future development milestones. Designed for up to four players, Last Pirates: Die Together sends crews into cursed pirate locations where they must collect stolen treasure, survive supernatural threats, and escape before everything falls apart.
At the center of the game are its strange physics-driven mechanics, including long elastic arms and an unusual butt-based revival system. Players can stretch across rooms, grab loot, pull teammates, throw objects, interact with the environment, and bring fallen crewmates back into action in ways that are as absurd as they are useful. The same tools that help the crew survive can also create panic, mistakes, and accidental sabotage, turning each run into a mix of horror, comedy, and chaotic teamwork.
The May 28 demo will include an 11-level location, 9 different monsters, multiple weapons, consumables, and character customization options. Players will be able to team up with friends, test the core mechanics, and experience the game’s blend of physics-driven interaction, co-op survival, and cursed pirate atmosphere.
RetroStyle Games began development on Last Pirates: Die Together in early 2026, with the goal of creating a co-op experience built for friend groups, streamable moments, and emergent gameplay. The project follows the studio’s work on the Ocean Keeper series and expands its portfolio into social co-op horror.
The demo will be available on Steam starting May 28. Players can wishlist the game now and follow the Steam page for updates.
