Terraclysm Survivors Revealed: A Chaotic Online Co-Op Roguelike Inspired by Different Versions of the Apocalypse

DeadPixel Studio has officially revealed Terraclysm Survivors, a chaotic online co-op action roguelike focused on experimentation, devastating synergies, and large-scale gameplay chaos.

Inspired by different interpretations of the end of the world across mythologies and cultures, Terraclysm Survivors places players inside collapsing realities consumed by catastrophe. Each map represents a different apocalyptic theme, with early revealed worlds drawing inspiration from Greek, Egyptian, Chinese, and Catholic imagery — with many more planned for the future.

Players gather in online lobbies, choose their characters and maps, then leap through mysterious portals into dangerous worlds overrun by enemy hordes.

At the center of the experience is build experimentation.

Throughout each run, players combine abilities, stack upgrades, and discover outrageous synergies capable of transforming fragile survivors into unstoppable engines of destruction. What begins as a desperate fight for survival quickly escalates into complete visual madness: explosions overlap endlessly, enemies flood the battlefield, and the screen becomes consumed by chaos.

Unlike many roguelikes focused on strict balance, Terraclysm Survivors embraces overpowered combinations as part of its core identity.

The game is designed around the fantasy of pushing systems beyond their limits and discovering just how absurd a build can become, especially when playing cooperatively with friends.

“We wanted every run to feel unpredictable and completely insane by the end,” says the team at DeadPixel Studio. “The chaos is part of both the gameplay and the universe itself.”
