The puzzle platformer where failure means success is now available
Independent studio The Notlanders is pleased to announce that their puzzle platformer Fail Fail Succeed is now available on Steam!
Fail Fail Succeed is now available on Steam with a 40% launch discount.
Following a well received public demo and positive player feedback, the solo developed Fail Fail Succeed is now in players hands!

You play as an anonymous figure in an uneasy, dreamlike world, guided by a dog towards what must be your only escape. Progress is blocked by impossible traps, but the twist is that you can transform into different blocks that are left behind when you die. As such, each failure literally becomes a stepping stone to success, and failure a fundamental part of the puzzle-solving experience.

Originally released as a public demo to a strong player response, the full version of Fail Fail Succeed expands significantly on its core ideas, introducing more puzzles, additional twists on the established mechanics and a deeper sense of progression. All this while preserving its restrained and contemplative tone.
At its heart, Fail Fail Succeed reflects the personal journey that shaped its development. Its design echoes the cycles of mental health lows and highs experienced by the solo developer Martin Zetterman. In this way, the mechanics and narrative flow together: each failure not just a setback, but a step towards success.
