Indie developer Pressed Elephant is happy to announce that Elfie: A Sand Plan is set to launch in May 2026! The studio’s debut title, their upcoming cozy sandcastle builder will launch on PC and MacOS via Steam on May 12th, 2026.
In Elfie: A Sand Plan, a small rotund elephant named Elfie invites you to help her build some sandcastles. Given a set of sand blocks in each level, you will need to match your sand sculptures with what Elfie has in mind.
Designed as a relaxing, accessible experience meant to transport players away from the troubles of everyday life, Elfie: A Sand Plan gives you full creative freedom over how you tackle the various puzzles – with no timers nor any other barrier to your creativity. The full version of the game comes with over 180 levels to complete and 3 different game modes – including a No Hints Mode that will test your 3D visualization skills – extra costumes for Elfie to unlock, a limitless sandbox mode, and a full original soundtrack for you to enjoy!
Born as a prototype in December 2024, Elfie: A Sand Plan immediately captivated a small group of early testers as it grew into a standalone release. The game already gained the attention of the industry and was recently nominated for Best Casual Game at Gamescom LATAM BIG Festival. Speaking of how the game came along, its main developer Solomar said “I have so many little doodles of Elfie. Drawing her doing various activities is just so fun. And now they’re a source of inspiration too. In one of these doodles, Elfie is stuck upside down in a sandcastle. That small doodle led me to draw the concept art for the game!”

The game will be priced at $6.99 USD, $8.99 CAD / €6.89 / R$ 23,50 and will have a 10% launch discount. The OST album will also be available for purchase separately at launch.
