Belgian indie developer Business Goose Studios announces that its heartfelt puzzle game Swan Song, inspired by a true personal story, will launch on Steam on June 4th.
The release date was revealed in a brand-new trailer during the Galaxies Showcase, offering a deeper look into the game’s emotional narrative and music-driven gameplay.
After the playful scale-shifting puzzles of their indie hit Sizeable, which has sold 200K copies and is rated “Overwhelmingly Positive” (96%) after over 3000 user reviews on Steam, the team now explores a more personal and emotional direction with Swan Song.
Swan Song is a calming puzzle game set inside a mysterious music box, where you place notes on a scale to compose melodies that guide a little swan safely back to its nest. With warm visuals and a soothing soundtrack by acclaimed composer Jamal Green (known for TOEM), Swan Song blends clever puzzle design with emotional storytelling.
The music box was the creator’s final masterpiece, his “swan song”. Lovingly crafted as a tribute to his family. With every puzzle you solve, fragments of his story come to light.
