Large-scale medieval city builder meets RTS battles & castle sieges
Build It Up! – The Holy Roman Empire has officially launched its Steam page, offering a first look at an ambitious blend of large-scale city building, real-time strategy and castle siege.
Players can build medieval cities with a strong focus on freedom and customization. The game features dynamic field systems, allowing farms and production areas to be shaped individually. Buildings can be customized through different materials and color variations, enabling unique and organic-looking settlements.
At its core, the game aims to simulate a living world where cities grow based on player decisions and population behavior.

Warfare and Sieges
Beyond city building, Build It Up! – The Holy Roman Empire introduces large-scale battles and castle siege. Players can raise armies, organize formations, and engage in tactical combat directly within the same world as their city. Fortifications can be built, defended, and attacked in real time, creating a seamless transition between economy and warfare.

Solo Development in Unreal Engine 5
Nik Walz, a German solo developer and CEO of Tec Enterprise, is developing the game using Unreal Engine 5. The focus is on combining large-scale simulation with performance, enabling complex cities and battles to run in a unified system.
A playable demo is currently in development and is planned to launch in the coming months. The goal is to gather large-scale player feedback ahead of the Early Access release.
The game can now be wishlisted on Steam. Players can follow development updates and provide feedback via Discord.
