DeeSicks: Build Your Own Bullet Hell Boss, Demo Out Now

Following a successful demo release on itch.io and ongoing community-driven updates, ByteRockers’ Games has launched DeeSicks on Steam, bringing its chaotic, dice-driven bullet hell to a wider audience.

DeeSicks blends physics-based dice rolling with high-intensity bullet hell combat. Before every fight, players aim, collide, and manipulate dice on a board to shape their loadout. Every roll matters, every placement scales, and every run spirals into something bigger.

What’s so special about it?

DeeSicks redefines the traditional bullet hell formula by shifting the focus from survival to power escalation. Rather than simply enduring increasingly difficult encounters, players build towards overwhelming strength, pushing their capabilities beyond conventional limits.

This progression is structured through a three-phase gameplay loop:

  • In the first phase, players engage with a physics-based dice system, aiming and manipulating dice across a board to influence available spells and modifiers.
  • In the second phase, dice are strategically assigned to spell parameters, allowing players to shape and optimize their build through meaningful decisions and synergies.
  • The final phase transitions into real-time combat, where the constructed build is unleashed against increasingly intense waves of enemies and large-scale boss encounters.

Each run evolves rapidly, transitioning from readable patterns into dense, screen-filling combat scenarios. Bosses grow in scale, complexity, and intensity, requiring players to continuously adapt both their strategy and their build.

The game encourages experimentation through a combination of characters, archetypes, and synergies, enabling players to create builds that range from controlled and efficient to highly chaotic and explosive.

Ultimately, DeeSicks offers a system-driven experience where progression and escalation are tightly interwoven, rewarding players who can adapt, optimize, and push their builds beyond expected limits.

Destiny has plans for you. Use physics-based dice rolls to aim, collide and set dice on a board to shape your build and unleash it in chaotic bullet hell combat. Every roll matters, every placement scales, and every run spirals. Become your own bullet-hell boss and outscale space, time and reason.Key Features
