Episodes 3 & 4 are now live for the puzzle co-op horror hit Storebound, a major update from independent developer Embers that doubles the available Early Access content.
Storebound is a 1-3 player cooperative experience where teamwork and quick thinking are your only tools for survival. Set in a sprawling, accursed megastore that refuses to let its customers leave, players must navigate the dark, solve twisted puzzles, and avoid the “After-Hours Assistance” provided by the mall’s local aberrations.
Set in 1997, Episodes 3 & 4 follow a group of teenagers whose late-night break-in turns into a desperate struggle for survival. The update also brings new environmental puzzles, and fresh lurking horrors to the aisles of its Store.
By carefully analyzing player feedback from the initial demo and the first two chapters, Embers has meticulously refined Episodes 3 & 4. This iterative process will continue for all future updates, ensuring the community’s voice stays central to the game’s evolution. Players are invited to join the official Storebound Discord to share direct feedback and gain access to upcoming playtests.
