A tactile, photogrammetry-and-stop-motion-infused world. A trading card game with no numbers. A homecoming that can’t be undone.
Abigail is a narrative-driven adventure about memory, change, and the way places shape the people who leave them behind. Set in the handmade coastal city of Kiln Bay, the game follows Abigail as she returns to the hometown she once couldn’t wait to escape – only to find a place that feels familiar in texture, but not in truth.
Before she left, Abigail was the unspoken center of her friend group: Chase, Dani, Joanna, Gabe, and Kate – her first love. Coming back means confronting the quiet drift of time: friendships that calcified without her, old tensions resurfacing in new forms, and the unsettling realization that everyone (including Abigail) has become someone else. Over the course of her return, players will rekindle connections, uncover what was buried, and decide what kind of place Kiln will hold in Abigail’s life moving forward.
A City Stitched from Handmade Memories

Kiln Bay is built like something you can touch. Streets and storefronts are formed from felt, clay, collage, papier-mâché, and glass – captured through a blend of photogrammetry and stop motion, with a quiet touch of magic. The result is a world that feels crafted rather than rendered: a living city of seams, fingerprints, and softened edges, like memory made physical.
Meet Azulejo: A Folk Game that Changes with Every Neighborhood

At the heart of Kiln Bay is Azulejo—a trading card game with no numbers and ever-shifting rules that evolve from neighborhood to neighborhood. In one part of town, Azulejo might play like affectionate conversation; in another, it becomes mystical divination, a catalyst for magical events, a this-or-that party game, or collaborative artmaking with world-altering consequences. It’s a folk game woven into daily life – alive, local, and constantly reinvented by the people who play it.
But Kiln Bay is changing. A new, hyper-competitive, corporatized version – Power Azulejo™ – is sweeping the city: slick, high-stakes, and rapidly standardizing a game that was never meant to be standardized. As Power Azulejo grows, it threatens to erase the vibrant idiosyncrasies of the folk variations that birthed it.
Tiles as Story: Collect Memories, Build Meaning

Azulejo tiles reflect the people, places, and moments that define Kiln Bay. Each tile carries traces of its origin – an overheard story, a fragment of history, a friendship long faded. Players gather tiles by interacting with the tactile world, uncovering secrets, and building bonds with residents. The eccentric Gianluca hands out tiles so you can rep his local pizzeria; relive haunted-house adventures, and you might conjure a spooky ghost Azulejo. Every tile becomes both a crystallization of nostalgia and a new way to connect with the neighbors you grew up alongside.
Dialogue that Plays like a Game

In Abigail, conversations with Kiln Bay’s residents flow like games themselves—shifting, playful, and alive. Your words and your tiles intertwine, turning dialogue into discovery and memory into meaning. Relationships deepen through the choices you make, the stories you uncover, and the ways you choose to play.
Step Into the Arena: Power Azulejo™
For those drawn to the newest and shiniest version of the game, Abigail also brings players into the competitive world of Power Azulejo™. Knock opponents out of the arena using tiles with unique powers as a tournament scene blooms across Kiln Bay. Not everyone is thrilled – many old-timers refuse to embrace the new phenomenon. With the very first Power Azulejo tournament on the horizon, will your collection measure up… or will you join the detractors?
