Pax Autocratica Lets You Play as a Totalitarian Leader and Donates 1% of Its Revenue to Humanitarian Relief
Pax Autocratica, the satirical totalitarian colony sim with FPS roguelite battles from developer Multiverse, will be launching into Early Access on Steam on February 2, 2026.
In the upcoming sci-fi hybrid Pax Autocratica, players are in charge of building a grand totalitarian colony, managing their citizens through Fear, Happiness, Hunger, and Loyalty, and spreading the regime through space expeditions and tactical roguelite battles from skirmishes to large-scale battlefields.
“Absolute control is deceptively comfortable,” said Freeman Fan, CEO of Multiverse. “We built Pax Autocratica as a space where players can test power without restraint and watch what follows. The simulation doesn’t tell them what’s right or wrong, it just mirrors back the consequences. The reflection is theirs to make.”
In tandem with its new trailer, Multiverse announced a global initiative to give back. 1% of all net revenue from Pax Autocratica will be donated to support people forced to flee violence in conflict areas through their partner, the Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC), a politically-neutral humanitarian organization assisting people affected by war, conflict and disaster.
Pax Autocratica launches in Early Access on February 2, 2026, exclusively on Steam.
