Blades for Hire Playtest is Now Live on Steam!

The Blades For Hire Playtest is now officially live on Steam and will run from March 9 through March 23.

This new Playtest build is an expanded and improved version of the previously released demo, featuring a range of updates and refinements made in response to player feedback. It also gives players the opportunity to unlock a unique in-game reward that will be granted at the full release of the game.

Players who complete the Playtest and meet the required conditions will receive exclusive equipment for their mercenaries when Blades For Hire launches.

To qualify for the reward, players must:

  • Add the game to their Steam Wishlist
  • Follow the publisher page on Steam
  • Earn the Steam achievement “Old Guard”

All players who previously signed up for the Playtest have already received access. New sign-up requests will continue to be approved during the Playtest period, although approvals may take slightly longer than before.

Players who have not signed up yet can still request access via the game’s Steam page and will receive a notification once approved.

The Playtest is currently available in the following languages:

English, Russian, French, German, Spanish – Spain, Polish, Portuguese – Brazil, Simplified Chinese, Turkish

Feedback and Community

Players can share feedback through the in-game Google Form, the Steam Community discussion page, or the official Discord server.

Blades For Hire is a tactical RPG game centered around mercenaries, player choice, and combat challenges. The current Playtest gives players an early look at the latest version of the game while also offering a chance to earn an exclusive launch reward.
