UK games publisher Kwalee and independent studio Fallen Tree Games have announced a new update for The Precinct, a neon-noir action sandbox game. The update is available now for free on PC (via Steam and the Epic Games Store), and will launch on March 24 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
The latest update allows players to take on more responsibilities with the addition of ambulance and coroner roles. Players can jump into an ambulance to respond to medical emergencies, helping injured civilians across the city. There’s also a new coroner vehicle, allowing players to handle dispatches involving the deceased.
Alongside these additions, a new hospital and morgue have also been added to West Island, along with the ability to switch into paramedic or coroner outfits directly from vehicles.
Additional gameplay updates include new collectible stashes unlocked at Police Officer Rank 7 and improved police AI that can pull suspects out of hiding. New ambulance-themed music tracks have also been added to both the base game and downloadable content.
