An upcoming fantasy action-adventure inspired by One Thousand and One Nights, The Longest Tale features four playable heroes and a legend shaped by their choices.
The Longest Tale is an upcoming fantasy action-adventure set in a myth-laden world. Set across the fractured lands of the Shattered Kingdoms, the game follows four distinct heroes whose individual journeys gradually reveal fragments of a single, ancient legend.
Players begin in an ethereal forest, where a mysterious storyteller sets the story in motion. From there, the journey spans sun-scorched deserts, cavernous depths beneath the earth, and mist-shrouded mountains.
Each region conceals remnants of lost civilizations, including ruined temples, towering fortresses, and arcane mechanisms that challenge players to decipher cryptic glyphs and solve reality-bending puzzles.

At the core of the experience are four playable heroes, each unlocked as the narrative unfolds. Every hero brings their own motivations, abilities, and relationships to the world, whether driven by vengeance, the pursuit of a cursed tower, or entanglement in the politics of rival factions. Their stories intersect and diverge, with player choices shaping both the environments they traverse and the story.
Designed with replayability in mind, The Longest Tale features adaptive progression systems that allow decisions to alter alliances, transform locations, and reveal or conceal narrative routes. Only by exploring multiple perspectives and paths can players uncover the hidden truth that binds the heroes together.
Drawing on ancient mythology, literary fantasy, and dreamlike storytelling traditions, The Longest Tale blends poetic themes with action-adventure design. Its tone reflects a world where life, death, and memory blur, posing a central question that lingers throughout the journey: how do stories endure when civilizations fall?
A playable demo for The Longest Tale is live now. The game is also set to take part in the upcoming Steam Next Fest.

The Longest Tale is targeting a Q2 release window this year.
