Exclusive Silver Pickaxe Reward for Participants
The development team behind Alaska Gold Fever is pleased to announce the start of the game’s closed playtests, running from today until December 31, 2025.
Selected participants will have the opportunity to experience new features, updated mechanics, and refined gameplay elements ahead of the game’s official release.
As part of the playtest, players can earn an exclusive in-game reward:
Exclusive Silver Pickaxe Reward
Participants who mine and filter 200 pieces of gold during the playtest will unlock the Silver Pickaxe, a limited collectible tool that provides enhanced mining stats in the full version of the game. Completing this challenge will also grant a special Steam achievement available only during the playtest period.
Player Feedback and Reporting Tools
Player feedback will play a central role in shaping the final version of Alaska Gold Fever. Testers can easily submit bug reports and suggestions directly from within the game using the built-in feedback tool, accessible via the F5 key.
In addition to in-game reporting, participants are encouraged to complete the official playtest survey, which will provide the development team with valuable insights on gameplay, balance, and overall experience.
New Trailer Released
To mark the beginning of the closed playtests, a new gameplay trailer has been released, showcasing updated visuals, expanded features, and what players can expect from their time in the Alaskan wilderness.
