New Gameplay Trailer shows more of what you can expect in new demo update available at Next Fest.
Let’s rip the bandage off first. To ensure Saint of Chains meets the high standards the developers set for themselves and the ones you deserve, they have decided to shift the release date to May 12, 2026.
But you won’t have to wait long to play.
“We are absolutely thrilled to announce that we are participating in the Steam Next Fest on February 23rd with an updated demo! You will be able to get your hands on the public demo and experience the nightmare firsthand. We can’t wait to see your reactions.” MystiveDev announced the change in their latest update on Steam.

The New Threats
They have added four new entities to the roster. And these guys don’t just chase you… they distort the space around you!
- The Sycophant: A slasher with a microphone for a head. It wants to broadcast your screams.
- The Uplink: A human bag of flesh hanging from the ceiling, fused with a split monitor. It watches.
- The Deadline: Watch the ceiling. Giant lips wait for you to pass beneath, dragging you up with a fleshy phone cord.
- The Redactor: A slow-moving, invisible predator that looks like a spatial distortion. It follows you silently. When it roars, it becomes visible and starts running.

SAINT OF CHAINS FEATURES:
• Retro-inspired visuals (PS2/early-3D horror vibes)
• Psychological horror + oppressive atmosphere
• Exploration-driven pacing with moments of sudden danger
• Scarce resources / limited shooting focus
• Designed for reaction-heavy playthroughs
• For horror fans who love Silent Hill 3, Cry of Fear, Lost in Vivo and Condemned!
