Clockwork Origins Announces Tri6: Infinite 2, the Next Step in Futuristic High Speed Arcade Racing

Clockwork Origins officially announces the development of Tri6: Infinite 2, the successor to the award-winning endless racer Tri6: Infinite. The new entry expands the core gameplay with deeper mechanics, revamped AI, new vehicles, weekly challenges, and a fully modernized visual style.

An Evolved Endless Racer with Procedural Track Generation

Just like its predecessor, players race through futuristic, endlessly generated tracks filled with hazards, turns, and high-speed challenges. Tri6: Infinite 2 significantly enhances its underlying procedural generation system, offering smoother curves, greater variety, and a more demanding but fair progression curve.

Feature Highlights

  • Four new vehicles, originating from other games within the Triverse
  • Revamped AI opponents with much more advanced power-up usage at higher difficulties
  • 10 powerups, including missiles, shockwaves, fake pickups, and defensive tools
  • Weekly challenges with global leaderboards
  • Enhanced visuals & effects, featuring camera shakes, neon-lit trails, and improved reflections
  • Cross-platform release on PC, Xbox, and PlayStation (additional platforms under consideration)

“With Tri6: Infinite 2, we wanted to preserve the pure arcade flow of the first game while improving every single component – from handling to AI to track generation. The result is a racer that feels faster, clearer, and more intense,”
— Daniel Bonrath, solo developer at Clockwork Origins

Tri6: Infinite 2 launches in May 2026 for PC (Steam), Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation®5. Additional platforms are currently being evaluated.
