Participating in INDIE Live Expo 2025
Korean publisher CometSoft Inc. announced that Time Snatcher Handy, developed in collaboration with Korean indie creator Clockwork Cat, will be showcased at Steam and STOVE starting November 27.
Time Snatcher Handy is a 2D retro-inspired roguelike developed by Clockwork Cat. It has recently garnered significant attention by participating in the “Steam Next Fest” and at the “Busan Indie Connect Festival (BIC),” it was nominated as the Rookie category’s Rising Star. It drew significant attention from industry professionals this month by winning the Grand Prize at the 3rd Unicorn Awards held during “2025 Content Universe Korea.”
In the game, the player takes on the role of “Handy,” a feline phantom thief who has stolen the Clock Hand from the Time Museum. Using its mysterious powers, “Handy” can freeze time, slipping through relentless bullet patterns to ambush patrolling guards and escape.

“Time” is the game’s core resource. This limited resource is spent when you stop time, buy items, or take damage, but can be regained by defeating guards. This creates a constant push-and-pull between risk and reward.
A wide variety of items are also available, from tools that speed up time to destructive powers like meteor strikes. Some will help you, while others pose risks, encouraging players to experiment and combine items to forge their own strategies.

The roguelike game “Time Snatcher Handy” which requires strategic use of time, is now available for purchase on Steam and STOVE, at the price of $8.99 (Launch Sale for 2 weeks). More details regarding the game and a demo version are currently available on each platform. In particular, an update to the demo version was released in September, adding new story elements, items, and stages to offer a more polished and complete experience.
In addition, “Time Snatcher Handy” will take part in the “INDIE Live Expo” on Saturday, November 29. The “INDIE Live Expo” is an indie game showcase themed around “making contributions to video games.” It will be broadcast worldwide in Korean, Japanese, Chinese, and English, and the game will be showcased to indie gamers around the world through INDIE Waves.

CometSoft stated it will continue to discover diverse indie games and actively introduce them to both domestic and global markets through collaboration, contributing to the growth of the indie game ecosystem.
