Indie developer Steelkrill Studio is excited to announce The 18th Attic, a haunting psychological horror game where players are trapped in a looping attic and must uncover the truth by photographing ghosts – with the help of an unlikely companion: their cat.
The 18th Attic is a surreal horror experience built around observation, repetition, and sanity management. As the attic resets over and over again, players must use their camera to capture supernatural entities, piece together environmental changes, and survive the psychological toll of being stuck in an endless loop.

• Ghost Photography Gameplay
Use your camera to detect, document, and photograph spirits. Some ghosts only reveal themselves through the lens – others react when photographed.
• Looping Attic Environment
The attic resets repeatedly, but small details change every loop. Memorization, observation, and pattern recognition are key to progress.
• Sanity System
Witnessing paranormal events drains your sanity, affecting visuals, sound, and perception. Let it drop too far, and reality begins to fracture.
• Cat Companion
Your cat is more than cosmetic – petting your cat restores sanity, providing a rare moment of calm amid the horror. The cat may also react to unseen entities.
