Project Motor Racing Introduces the Japanese GT500 Pack

Publisher GIANTS Software and developer Straight4 Studios today released the Japanese GT500 Pack for  Project Motor Racing. The DLC introduces one of motorsport’s most distinctive and technically advanced racing classes, bringing together modern SUPER GT machinery and iconic JGTC-era cars in a single package.

Two Eras, One Identity

For the first time in any simulation, players will be able to experience the most complete lineup of current  SUPER GT racers – cars that combine production-based silhouettes with prototype-level engineering,  delivering performance far beyond traditional GT racing.

Modern GT500 EVO

Built on Detail – Driven by Feel

All vehicles in the Japanese GT500 Pack are developed using Project Motor Racing’s latest physics and tire model evolution, delivering a more progressive, readable, and connected driving experience. Each car reflects its real-world characteristics – from drivetrain layout and weight distribution to steering response and aerodynamic behavior – ensuring clear differentiation across both eras of GT500 machinery. The result is a class that is not only exceptionally fast but also highly varied, demanding, and deeply rewarding to drive.

A Japanese Circuit, Fully Scanned

The pack also includes a fully scanned Japanese circuit, recreated with high-fidelity surface detail, elevation changes, and trackside accuracy to complement the GT500 experience.

SUPER GT has long stood apart in global motorsport – factory-backed, fiercely competitive, and culturally unique. The Japanese GT500 Pack brings that identity into Project Motor Racing, offering players a direct connection to one of the most respected and distinctive racing series in the world.

Project Motor Racing is available for PC, PlayStation® 5, and Xbox Series X|S. The Japanese GT500 Pack is released today on digital channels. A Year 1 Season Pass is available separately and includes the Japanese  GT500 Pack and more content to be released in 2026 – fans save up to 30% compared to buying all content separately.
