The largest update so far delivers new buildings, balance improvements, and core gameplay refinements
Siscia Games announced the release of the first major Early Access Milestone update for Pompeii: The Legacy, a historical city-building game set in ancient Roman Pompeii. This update marks the largest and most significant step forward since the game entered Early Access, delivering substantial new content, balance improvements, and technical refinements shaped by community feedback.
The milestone update introduces several new fully functional buildings, including the Armorer, Heavy Weapons Yard, and major religious landmarks such as the Temples of Jupiter and Mars, expanding both the economic and cultural layers of the city. Alongside new construction options, the update rebalances production, consumption, and trade systems, improving long-term city stability and pacing, especially for mid- to late-game settlements.
In addition to new buildings and economic tuning, the update delivers expanded research options, improvements to citizen movement and road usage, UI enhancements, and a wide range of bug fixes and optimizations. Visual polish and ambient audio have also been improved, further enhancing immersion within the evolving city.

While some narrative content initially planned for this milestone has been rescheduled, it is set to arrive around the New Year. Following that update, development will focus on deeper optimization and visual upgrades, with optional combat systems planned for a later phase of development.
Pompeii: The Legacy is currently available in Early Access on Steam, where it has received a very positive user rating and continues to evolve through regular updates.
