Disco Samurai is a rhythm action game in a cyberpunk setting. Every action you and your enemies take is synchronized to the beat of the music. Combat focuses heavily on parrying and dodging enemy attacks, and finishing them off with counter attacks and powerful abilities. The player is also able to use environment objects to his advantage.
The story follows Fox, a rebellious student who wants to make a name for herself in the world of architecture and fine arts. Since virtual vandalism and spilling pixel blood are more her style than attending lectures, the world of Disco is about to learn a new definition of “brutalism.” The story mode spans across over 80 hand-crafted dioramas, from oriental gardens to exclusive nightclubs, each of the seven chapters offers a different challenge.
