Loot, Hide, Survive: Break into a house – escape with your life
Indie developer DERANGED GAMES and publisher Zemore Indie Gaming announce today that development of LAG KILLS, a singleplayer and online co-op survival horror game slated for release on PC, is currently in development. Players will face terror, tension, and tough choices as they loot an apparently empty house… only to discover that the owner is home. And hunting.
In LAG KILLS, desperation and fear collide. After a life-altering car accident that leaves them unable to cover rising medical bills, players and a trusted friend make a last-ditch decision. Break into what seems like an empty property in search of valuables. What awaits them is far from vacant. Instead, they must loot, hide, survive, and escape before the owner finds them. Every playthrough offers unpredictable AI behavior, creating a fresh, nerve wracking experience every time. Gameplay supports solo play, with online co-op coming in the very near future, giving both lone wolves and friends a chance to test their wits against psychological cat-and-mouse horror.
“One night, I sat there playing a ranked game at 3am then I started lagging, got killed and went ‘a little crazy’. The first thought that went through my head was, ‘If someone broke into my house right now, it would be a bad night for them.’
So I decided to make a game out of that.
Just a little more… DERANGED,“ said Lee Burton, solo indie developer behind LAG Kills and Deranged Games, when asked how he thought of the idea behind his game.
