The promotion celebrates developer and studio owner Wes Abrams’ Transplantaversary, the one-year anniversary of the bone marrow transplant that saved his life.

For longtime followers of the game’s development, Wes’ journey has been an important part of Bigfoot Life from the very beginning. Much of the game was created during hospital stays including work done directly from Wes’ hospital bed.
“Working on Bigfoot Life got me through some incredibly difficult times,” Wes shares. “My donor gave me a second chance at life, and I can’t think of a better way to celebrate that than by giving the game a huge discount so more players can have access to it.”
Wes also extends his heartfelt gratitude:

New Features and updates
• Wood / Tree Knocking System
Players will now be able to use their Bigfoot Points for meaningful interactions. This system also ties into the mysterious new Land of Mystery, where players might encounter a few fellow cryptids.
• First-Person Camera Mode
Players can now switch to an all-new First-Person Camera Mode, similar to Bigfoot Vision but without the visual effects. This offers a fresh way to explore the forest and immerse themselves in the life of Bigfoot.
• New Hair Card Fur Option for Improved Performance
Player feedback revealed a surprising issue: while many low-end machines and even the Steam Deck run the game smoothly, some high-end systems experience inconsistent performance due to the Groom-based fur system.
To help affected players, the “Low” Fur setting will now use a card-based fur system instead of Groom. This option does not match the visual fidelity of high-quality Groom fur but dramatically improves performance for those encountering issues.
Additional small improvements and fixes will also be included in the update.
