Aruma Studios, creators of the highly-rated Intruder in Antiquonia, announced today that their supernatural mystery Shadows of the Afterland arrives on PC (Windows, macOS, Linux) on February 10, 2026. A Nintendo Switch version is scheduled to follow later this year.
In Shadows of the Afterland, players guide Carolina, a skilled police investigator who awakens in the afterlife—in the past, before her own birth. As a ghost with a face she doesn’t recognize, she must master the art of possession to interact with the living and solve the enigma of her own death.

“The scope of this project is much broader than our previous title,” added Silvia Izquierdo, who oversees production. “It was a challenge to coordinate, but the result is absolutely worth it.”
