Major Physics Overhaul, Leaderboard Reset, and New ‘Bento 1995’ Available Now!
The team behind #DRIVE Rally is thrilled to announce the release of the New Physics Update (v1.3.8). This is not just a patch, it is a fundamental evolution of the driving experience, rebuilt based on extensive community feedback to deliver the most satisfying slides, jumps, and drifts in the game’s history.
To celebrate this new era of handling, the update also introduces a brand new vehicle – the Bento 1995 – and a total reset of the online leaderboards, leveling the playing field for every driver.
A Whole New Feel
The core of Update 1.3.8 is a comprehensive rework of the vehicle physics. The development team has fine-tuned the balance between grip and slip, resulting in:
- Master the Drift: Drifting control has been significantly improved with better slide stability and duration.
- Natural Weight: Vehicle movement is now smoother and more natural, particularly noticeable in CL class cars.
- Airtime Evolved: Jumping and landing behaviors are now more realistic, requiring precision to stick the landing.
- Tougher Terrain: Updated grip on dirt and asphalt demands more balanced driving and braking techniques.

No update is complete without a new set of wheels. Enter the Bento 1995. Small, agile, and iconic, the Bento is ready to tear up the track. Available in CL, RS and XR.

Update 1.3.8 also brings a massive wave of optimizations to ensure the game runs as smoothly as it drives:
- Visual Upgrades: Better suspension height for realistic fitment, and improved Chase Camera height.
- Performance: Extensive optimization across textures, meshes, and collisions to reduce load times and eliminate micro-lags.
