Sil and the Fading World Translation Announcement

IceCrack Games announced this week that Sil and the Fading World, the studio’s inaugural title, is receiving a host of new supported languages.

As of Friday, the upcoming game is supported in English, Simplified Chinese, German, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Polish, Russian, Japanese, and Korean. This is the latest in IceCrack Games’ localization efforts, aiming to bring Sil’s adventure to a global audience.

These translations are available now in the game’s demo on Steam, and all the listed languages will be supported in all future releases. Sil and the Fading World’s demo first launched in English in 2024. Simplified Chinese support released in September 2025.

Sil and the Fading World is a single player fantasy RPG with an emphasis on solo raiding and character customization. The game draws heavy inspiration from the MMO genre, allowing the player to build their character and tackle raids their own way. The game is set to release in Q1 2026, and the new language support will be available in both the final game and the demo, available on Steam for Windows now.

“Community is a pillar of our development cycle at IceCrack Games,” said Bardh Dervishaj, developer and co-founder. “As our community continues to grow, so too does its diversity of languages and cultures. This new host of supported languages will make Sil and the Fading World more accessible to everyone.”
