The retro-style tactical strategy game is aiming for Spring 2026
Hooded Horse and Takibi Games are excited to share the latest for Mars Tactics, the upcoming tactical strategy game set during a workers’ uprising on the red planet. Debuted during the PC Gaming Show: Tokyo Direct 2025 showcase, the latest trailer for the action-packed tactics game shows off new mechanics, gameplay footage, and confirms a shift to a May 2026 release window.
Lead either Capital’s corporate army or Labor’s revolutionaries and wage war across a vast strategic map, assuming direct control where hardened, armed workers face off against ruthless mercenaries in dynamic turn-based tactical battles featuring everything from artillery to drones, and fully destructible environments.
The new trailer showcases new footage, along with the latest iteration of the game’s real-time strategy layer, management and squad customization mechanics, gunsmith mode, airstrikes, and the fine art of using a jackhammer drill to solve all problems.
Mars Tactics will release on PC via Steam, GOG, and the Epic Games Store in May 2026.
