Whimsical Heroes, a new tactical, turn-based game, where you beat up cucumbers for magical Bubbles
Whimsical Heroes is now available for purchase in Early Access on Steam.
Whimsical Universes presents its latest creation, a tactical turn-based game set in the fairytale, two-dimensional world of Whimsicalia. With your party of three heroes, embark on a journey through cartoonish lands and fight for Bubbles against quirky creatures such as peanut bees, walking cucumbers, and pumpkin witches.
Each character in the party has a unique personality, skill set, and playstyle. The Bean Champion focuses on dealing damage and pushing enemies into dangerous positions, the Fluffy Cat can strike multiple foes at once while protecting allies and keeping them alive, and the Onion Bard attacks from a distance, affecting enemy stats. Heroes can be upgraded using Bubbles at the camp, where you will also invest in companions you’ve met along the way who grant powerful special abilities during battles.
The game is lighthearted and humorous, enriched with a colorful and cozy audiovisual style. The combat system is easy to learn, even for players who are not avid fans of tactical games, while turn-based encounters remain fast-paced and dynamic. Despite being friendly to casual players, the gameplay also offers enough depth to satisfy those seeking greater challenges.
In Early Access, players can enjoy the usual Story Mode as well as the Adventure Mode, inspired by roguelite games, where battles and special events are randomized in each playthrough.
