The Hermit Demo is a small, fully open-world experience and features a sampling of the content and areas from the full game! Appearing this week and next at the Ancient Costumes.
Following the success of the Hermit Game Reveal Trailer & Steam Page Launch, developer Krabworks Game Studios Inc. announced a Free Game Demo this week in advance of the full release (coming sometime mid-late 2026).
The demo has now been added to the Ancient Costumes Game Festival by Cube Game on Steam and is accessible on the event page until November 17th.
Demo Features
- Fully Open-World Demo: The demo is its own small fully open-world experience, separate from the main game. It has its own quests and is based on a small sectioned-off portion of the main game’s map.
- Hours of Gameplay: Without spoiling the main game’s storyline or world, the Demo will allow players to experience the first few hours of Hermit. The demo is a fairly large experience and is available for free on Steam.
What’s Next: A full release of the final game is expected mid-late 2026. There are no plans for an early-access release.
