Outbound Hits Over 1 Million Wishlists as Cozy Survival Adventure Rolls into Closed Beta

Square Glade Games invites backers to kick back, craft, and chase sunsets as development enters its final stretch.

Developer Square Glade Games and publisher Silver Lining Interactive are thrilled to announce that their upcoming “cozyvival” adventure, Outbound, has officially reached over 1 million wishlists on Steam, a huge milestone that highlights the growing excitement for this laid-back survival road trip.

Launching in the first half of 2026 on PC via Steam, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S, Outbound blends the joy of cozy living with the freedom of open-world exploration. Starting with a simple camper van in a near-future utopia, players can customise their rolling home, live sustainably off-grid, and explore breathtaking biomes, solo or with friends, at their own pace.

As the team cruises toward the final stretch of development, closed beta playtests have now begun for Kickstarter Beta Edition and Alpha backers, with more than 3,400 supporters invited to test both single-player and multiplayer modes. This testing phase is a crucial opportunity for the community to help fine-tune gameplay and shape Outbound’s final form.
