The Call of the Storm Patch, launching September 26, brings a wave of changes to combat, class dynamics, world design, and user experience, solidifying Erenshor’s commitment to deep, strategic gameplay and rich world-building.
Game-Changing Updates That Redefine the Experience
The Stormcaller patch introduces a total rebalance of core gameplay systems:
- Combat, items, and spells have all been meticulously overhauled for better balance and synergy.
- Class roles have been redefined, with major changes to key archetypes like Duelists and Paladins.
- A brand-new class, the Stormcaller, brings ranged archery into the fray with unique mechanics.
The world of Erenshor also expands dramatically:
- Existing zones like Island Tomb and Krakengard have been rebuilt to be larger, more open, and better structured.
- A new zone, Willowwatch, debuts as an alternate tutorial path, enhancing onboarding for new players.
Core Gameplay Enhancements
- Party size increases from 4 to 5 players, allowing for more strategic compositions.
- Players now have greater control over their party, in the form of group management having more options.
- Both SimPlayer AI (healing/combat spell logic) and Enemy AI (phases, targeting, enrage) have received upgrades.
